Cowex establishes automatic emergency water supply function to Københavns Energi

Cowex has established an emergency operating mode for Tinghøj pumping station. When activated, the function will transfer water to KE's water tower. The emergency function is established as an advanced control for a regulating valve, designed to maintain the pressure in the pipeline while the flow is being reversed. Water is then transported from Sjælsø Waterworks to KE through Vesterbyvej and Tinghøj pumping stations.
The solution has been implemented, tested, and handed over to the customer.

Cowex has establish an advanced automation system for NordVand A/S water supply

Cowex has designed and delivered an advanced automation system for the overall management of Gladsaxe water works, including water supply from the Tinghøj pumping station and Vesterbyvej pumping station.
The automation system incoorporates all the water supply stations in the system, changing the performance of each sub-station to meet the combined requirements for the water supply.
The solution is integrated into NordVand A/S’ existing AquaLogix WEB SCADA system.
The solution has been implemented, tested, and handed over to the customer.

Cowex delivers an optimized methane degassing system to Ullerød Waterworks

Cowex has developed an optimized solution for degassing of methane content in groundwater. It has resulted in a more efficient process of degassing methane, yielding a higher rate of methane gasses released from the water, at a lower level of power consumption.
The solution is based on combined use of specially manufactured perforated plates combined with carefully controlled air pressure on the underside of the perforated plate and a slight vacuum on the upper side. The result is an efficcient formation of bubbles in the passing water, thus creating a large surface between air and water.

Cowex delivers intelligent water source management for Ullerød waterworks

Cowex automation has completed an update of Ullerød waterworks I/S. Extraction of raw water from wells in Ullerød waterworks is now maintained by Cowex’ specially developed solution for intelligent water source management; Flow from wells is now adjusted for optimal performance relative to nominal water extraction and planned production.

Cowex to carry out a complete update of Alsønderup waterworks

Alsønderup waterworks is to be totally renovated.
Cowex has been chosen as the main contractor to deliver a completely new solution for the waterworks. The solution includes water treatment with degassing, filtering and automatic filter flushing.
In addition the task includes the installation of our newest AquaLogix solution for "Future water works" with WEB visualization allowing for remote monitoring of waterworks via the Internet. The project is expected to be completed in March 2010.

Cowex presents a new solution for measurement of methane content in water

Cowex now offers a new solution for measurement of methane content in water. The solution can be applied in waterworks and other processes where accurate and easily accessible methane measurements are required.
Methane content can be detected within the range of 0.01 – 0.40 mg/l, thus making it useful for operational control of waterworks.

New pumping station for NordVand A/S; Vesterbyvej

Cowex Automation has received an order from NordVand A/S on delivery of power- and control panels, as well as complete instumentation for the transport-pump station connecting Gentofte and Gladsaxe water supplies.
The system will also be included in Cowex’ SCADA solution for NordVand A/S.

Cowex concept: FISH-factory

Cowex now offers a new overall concept for industrial fish farming. It features an optimized production facility for lower power consumption and better water treatment systems, resulting in cleaner water throughout the production system, and also incoorporates our well-known solutions from AquaMaxima integrated with both recirc control and the trans-feed feeding robot.

Cowex designs integrated water treatment and optimized energy solution for a wave pool

The project includes an integrated water treatment system, using a vacuum sand filtersystem, for the lowest possible power consumption. The design also includes an optimized heating system, which incoorporates the use of solar heating and heat pumps to maintain a comfortable water temperature and indoor swimming climate.

Cowex supplying new pumps for pumping stations

Brogaard waterworks on Bornholm is to be upgraded with new pumps, for a more energy conserving solution. The solution Cowex provided has resulted in significantly lower energy consumption than with the previous pumps, as the old pumps did no longer meet the desired requirements.

Cowex completes delivery of sewage pumping station

Cowex Automation has completed a delivery to Brudelysvej sewage pumping station, Gladsaxe municipality, consisting of a new power and control box, and new software for both the PLC and the SCADA system.
In addition, a new and complete instrumentation and commissioning of the pumping station has been delivered.

Cowex A/S receives the Bornholm Technology Price

Cowex has been awarded the Bornholm Technology Prize, which is ordained by Bornholms Bandforsikring, a local insurance company. The award is intended for companies to focus on technology use as a base for future growth and business opportunities based on Bornholm.
The jury gave the following comments:

"Cowex represents the frontier and devised an innovative solution which extends far into the future. With a SCADA system that can be accessed via the Internet / Web, Cowex have developed a simple system that allows the chief engineer to remote control his factory via the internet from anywhere in the world".

Cowex supplies pumping stations to Tejn waterworks

New intelligent pumping stations are to be integrated in the main waterworks and in the buried transport pump station, both part of Tejn waterworks on Bornholm. The update includes electrical work, control panels and instrumentation, consisting of PLCs, radio communication and software.

Cowex is to deliver complete Recirc Control System to German Eel farm

Cowex Aquaculture has received new order from Aquahouse A/S on delivery of a Recirculation Control System to Aal-Hof Götting - German eel farm. The system includes glass eel production unit and double production unit for big eels. Cowex will deliver motor control switchboard, the new improved version of AquaMaxima™ Recirc Computer System for online control, supervision with dual alarming system plus instrumentation.
The delivery is to be concluded in March - April 2007.

Cowex delivers frequency controlled sewer pump station

Cowex Automation has carried out a delivery to Bagsvaervej pump station. The delivery included new upgraded control switchboard and new software for both PLC and SCADA system.
We have also delivered frequency converters and instrumentation for the pump station so the capacity can be regulated to maximize usage of both pumps and pipework.

Cowex offers a new solution for access control and video surveillance

We now offer administrative access and video surveillance for new and existing plants, e.g. water works.
Administrative access is possible through our SCADA system. Every authorised user is assigned with a unique RFID key ring, which grants access to the plant.
As an addition to administrative access, it is also possible to install a motion-activated video surveillance system, using motion-controlled video storage technology.
In the event of an unauthorized entry, the system can warn users by alarm and sms. In combination with video surveillance, a video sequence of the event will be stored for later monitoring/evidence.

Cowex Automation has received order from WindowMaster A/S on delivery of a building automation solution to VKR holding's new domicile in Hoersholm. The order contains control switchboard, equipment and software for signal collection and presentation in SCADA system. Cowex will deliver a complete solution including software, documentation and CTS switchboard installation.

Cowex involved in the new Danish Opera (automation)

Yesterday took a successful official opening of the new Danish Opera on Holmen place. Cowex Automation has in the period 10 August 2004 to 5 December 2004 been involved in the automation and control process of the advanced stage mechanics together with the austrian supplier Wagner Biro. The stage itself is composed of no less than six separate sub-stages. The floor for all six stages is made up of modules on special wheel-mounted trucks. The individual modules are computer controlled, and can move silently and with millimetre accuracy from one stage to the other, allowing a full stage set to be replaced by another in just af few minutes.
